Learn more about adding and editing alert configurations and the temperature thresholds that inform those alerts.
Alerts are a powerful tool that allows you to be notified when your units go outside of the desired temperature and humidity range.
How do I add an Alert?
Note: Only individuals who are admins can add recipients to an alert.
Each piece of equipment should have a minimum and maximum temperature and humidity thresholds, or the temperatures you are comfortable allowing your units to operate in. These min/max temperatures or humidity percentages will inform when your alerts are triggered for a specific piece of equipment.
If you need to adjust these thresholds, follow the directions below.
GlacierGrid App:
- Look for the sensor name.
- Swipe to the left.
- Tap on the Pencil icon.
- Locate the "Temperature Threshold" fields and input your desired maximum and optional minimum threshold.
- Tap Save on the upper right corner.
GlacierGrid Web Dashboard:
- Login into your GlacierGrid Dashboard on your preferred web browser.
- Select the Equipment tab.
- Click on the pencil icon beside the sensor name.
- Adjust the desired temperature threshold.
- Click Next.
